Call Center Accepts Everything

Call Center Accepts Everything follows a group of women working at a call center for a company that sells adult products. The office runs on a rule of unconditional customer satisfaction, and that policy leaves its staff trapped in constant abuse and pressure. When new employee Yoo-ri arrives, she is quickly pulled into the same harsh routine. Her work brings her into contact with difficult callers and the tense hierarchy inside the office.

The film was made by filmmakers from Canada, the United States and South Korea. Yoo-ri and the other women at the center of the story are the ones carrying the daily burden of the job, while manager Jang and team leader Kang stand over them as figures of control. Joo-ri also becomes important through her unexpected connection with foreign customer Kenny. Their interactions shape the film’s sense of workplace strain and uneasy human contact.

Set almost entirely around the call center, the story turns a cramped workplace into a pressure cooker. It mixes horror, thriller, drama and romance elements, using the office’s rules and power dynamics to create a harsh, unstable mood. The tone is bleak and confrontational, with the women’s labor and the company’s demands at the center of the film.
