Get ready for a second Rush!
Rush Hour 2 sends Lee and Carter from Hong Kong into a fast-moving case that starts with a deadly embassy bombing and leads them toward a counterfeiting scheme. What begins as a vacation for Carter quickly turns into another round of trouble as the pair chase clues, trade blows and keep getting pulled deeper into danger. Their search takes them from parties and flirtation into a web of crime that keeps shifting around them. The film keeps the pace high while letting the mismatched partners stumble through each new setback together.

Brett Ratner directs this 2001 action comedy, and Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker return as Lee and Carter. Chan plays the disciplined investigator who stays focused on the case, while Tucker brings the loose, talkative energy that keeps dragging the pair into fresh chaos. John Lone appears as the Triad figure tied to the investigation, and Zhang Ziyi plays a key figure whose loyalties are not simple. The cast gives the film its push-pull rhythm, with each character adding pressure to the partnership at the center of the story.

Made in Japan, the United States and Hong Kong, the film moves between bright city spaces, criminal hideouts and crowded social scenes. Its tone mixes martial-arts action with broad comedy, keeping the mood light even as the danger grows. The story leans on friendship under pressure, cultural friction and the clash between order and impulse.
