“Fall hard.”
Fresh off a near career-ending accident, Colt Seavers is pulled back into the chaos of stunt work when a movie star disappears. He has to keep doing the dangerous job he knows best while following a trail that points to a larger conspiracy. At the same time, he is trying to win back the love of his life, which makes every step of the search more complicated.
The film was made by David Leitch, who shapes the action around the physical demands and risks of stunt performance. Ryan Gosling plays Colt Seavers, bringing the story’s mix of recklessness and persistence to the center of the chase. Emily Blunt appears as the woman Colt hopes to reconnect with, while the cast around them helps turn the search into a lively scramble through the film world. Their roles keep the story moving between danger, frustration and comic timing.
Set inside the movie business, the film uses sets, stunts and behind-the-scenes pressure as part of its world. It leans into a playful, energetic tone even as the mystery grows more serious, and the romance gives the action a personal edge. The result is a fast-moving crime story with comedy and emotional tension woven through it.
