“Come together.”
Wade Wilson has settled into civilian life and left his mercenary days behind, but that quiet routine does not last. When his homeworld comes under an existential threat, he is forced back into action as Deadpool. Wolverine is dragged into the crisis as well, and the two men are pushed into an uneasy partnership. The story follows their reluctant return to danger and the clash of two stubborn survivors.
The film is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and was made in the United States. It runs 128 minutes and was released in 2024. Wade Wilson, played by Ryan Reynolds, anchors the story as the wisecracking mercenary who cannot stay retired for long. Hugh Jackman appears as Wolverine, whose even greater reluctance turns their team-up into a tense and comic pairing.
Its tone mixes irreverent comedy with high-stakes science-fiction action, keeping the focus on two anti-heroes who would rather work alone. The film leans into fast banter, violence and the friction that comes from forcing unlikely allies together. It plays as a loud, self-aware adventure with a restless energy and a constant sense of collision.
