Inside Out is an animated comedy-drama about 11-year-old Riley as she adjusts to a major move and the shifting feelings inside her mind. Her inner world is run by five Emotions who try to guide her through the upheaval. When Joy and Sadness are separated from the control center, the film follows their effort to find a way back while Riley struggles to keep her balance.
