“Let the ass-kicking commence.”
Boy Kills World follows Boy, a deaf-mute young man whose family is murdered, forcing him to flee into the jungle and survive on instinct. There he is taken in by a mysterious shaman who trains him to suppress his childish imagination and turn himself into a weapon. What begins as a personal escape becomes a path shaped by loss, rage and the need to strike back.
The film was released in 2024 and runs 111 minutes. It is a crime-action adventure thriller made in the United States, and its cast is led by Bill Skarsgård as Boy. The story also centers on the shaman who remakes him, using that relationship to push the character from grief into violence. The setup gives the action a personal edge rather than treating it as spectacle alone.
Set in a harsh, unstable world, the film mixes revenge with survival and a warped coming-of-age arc. Its tone is brutal and feverish, with a strong streak of dark fantasy running through the violence. The result is a pulpy, relentless story about grief hardening into purpose.
