Set in Ireland, Lamb follows Father Michael Lamb, a priest whose certainty begins to crack while he works at a reform school. When Eoin, a young runaway with epilepsy, arrives, the two form an uneasy bond and leave the school behind. Their escape carries them toward London, where money, pressure and pursuit steadily narrow their options.

The film was made in 1986 and runs 110 minutes. It was produced in the US, the UK and Ireland, and its story is carried by a priest and a vulnerable boy whose connection becomes the center of the drama. As Lamb and Eoin move farther from the school, the film keeps attention on their choices and the strain between duty, care and survival.

The setting gives the story a stark, unsettled atmosphere, with Ireland and the journey outward shaping its mood. It plays as a drama with horror, science-fiction and thriller elements, but the tension comes from human pressure as much as from the wider world around the characters. The result is restrained and uneasy, with a focus on moral conflict and the cost of escape.
